Here's a Stain Removal Policy that complements what's already in your Laundry Care Policy (which briefly covers stains) without duplicating it — this one goes deeper specifically because you're now selling Stain Remover Treatment as a paid add-on, which needs its own clear expectations.

Stain Removal Policy

At Reset Mama Co., we do everything we can to help your laundry come back looking its best. Stain removal is genuinely part of thoughtful care — but it's also one of the few things in laundry that can never be promised with certainty. This policy explains what our Stain Remover Treatment includes, and what it doesn't.

About the Stain Remover Treatment

Stain Remover Treatment is an optional add-on service (+$10.00) available at checkout. When selected, we apply a targeted treatment to visibly stained areas before your standard wash cycle.

Results may vary, and complete stain removal cannot be guaranteed. Some stains respond very well to treatment; others may lighten but not fully disappear, and some may not improve at all. This isn't a reflection of effort — some stains are simply permanent once set, regardless of the product or process used.

Stains That May Not Fully Remove

Certain stains and conditions are especially difficult or impossible to fully treat, including but not limited to:

  • Set-in or aged stains (present before pickup for an extended period)
  • Ink, dye, or permanent marker
  • Bleach damage or discoloration
  • Wine, blood, or other stains that have already dried or set
  • Oil-based stains on synthetic fabrics
  • Rust or mineral staining
  • Sun fading or pre-existing discoloration

If a stain doesn't fully release during treatment, we're happy to let you know what we observed — but the treatment fee reflects the service, not a guaranteed outcome.

Please Identify Stains Before Pickup

If you know an item has a stain — especially one you're hoping to have specifically addressed — please flag it at pickup, or note it in your order. This helps us treat the right areas and set realistic expectations with you in advance, rather than after the fact.

If You Choose Not to Add Treatment

Standard washing (without the Stain Remover Treatment add-on) may still improve the appearance of some stains, but is not intended as targeted stain treatment. If stain removal is a priority for a specific item, we recommend adding the Stain Remover Treatment at checkout.

Liability

As with all Reset Mama Co. services, our liability for any item affected by a stain — whether treated or not — is limited to the current replacement value of the service affected, consistent with our Laundry Care Policy.
